Thought for Today
From The Works Of Rev. M.L. Fauss (1906-1984)

We must go to the sinner if we expect him to come to the savior!Luke 14:23: Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Matthew 22:10: So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: And the wedding was furnished with guest. Somewhere along the line folks have gotten the idea that if they erect a beautiful sanctuary and place an ad in the religious section of the newspaper, the unsaved will flock into the church. But it just doesn’t work that way! There’s an impelling go in the gospel, and we must reach out to sinners and bring them in. May Jesus say, “well done, good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
