Thought for Today
From The Works Of Rev. M.L. Fauss (1906-1984)

Men may “whitewash” sin, but only Jesus’s blood can wash it white!Psalm 51:7: Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Isaiah 1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. These words are part of the contrite prayer of King David after he committed the gross sins of adultery and murder. Truly repentant he pleads in agony of soul. Friend, are you burdened by unconfessed sin? If you turn to Jesus and plead His forgiveness, you too will experience the wondrous cleansing he imparts. Christ alone can put your feet on the highway to Heaven and make your heart “Whiter than snow.”
