Covered sin brews misery—confessed sin distills forgiveness!Proverbs 28:13: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. I John 1:9: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 10:10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Only God’s love in our heart can enable us to forgive without reservation, and to seek forgiveness from others instead of trying to justify our faults. “God not only wipes the slate clean when you commit your life to Him, He throws the slate away.
