Thought for Today
From The Works Of Rev. M.L. Fauss (1906-1984)

When a man’s temper gets the best of him it reveals the worst in him!Ecclesiastes 7:9: Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry. For anger resteth in the bosom of fools. Proverbs 15:1: A soft answer turneth away wrath. Grievous words stir up anger! Often we do foolish things when we flare up in anger. As a boy, I knew a man who became so furious when his car wouldn’t start, that he threw the crank against the radiator. He soon realized how stupid this was, for repairing the damages cost him more than he could afford. I have also known people in a fit of rage who broke furniture, shouted incoherently, slammed doors, quit good jobs, or said things they later regretted. Proverbs 14:17: says, “He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly.”
