Temper makes a man speak his mind when he should be minding what he speaks!Peter minded what he spoke in Matthew 16:17: “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, The son of the living God.” He spoke his mind in Mark 14:71: “And he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.” But after repenting and being baptized with the Holy Spirit we find him a changed man. In the second chapter of Acts when he preached and 3,000 souls were saved, yielding your temper to God will bring good results, But, “Flying off the Handle,” so to speak, is always disastrous. Proverbs 16:32: He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty.
