Thought for Today
From The Works Of Rev. M.L. Fauss (1906-1984)

A church stays on its feet when the members get on their knees!1 Samuel 12:23: God forbid that I should sin in ceasing to pray for you. Acts 6:4: But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the Word. Acts 12:5: Peter therefore was kept in prison: But prayer was made without ceasing of the Church unto God for him. The apostle Paul stated that he himself was relying on divine provision made available because of the prayers of the Saints (Phil. 1:19). He viewed the spiritual health of the Church as being related in part to the interaction of its members as they upheld each other before the throne of Grace. Let’s remember to pray for one another—without ceasing! There will always be more power in the pulpit when there is more prayer in the pews!
