Jesus took our place that we might have His peace. He took our sin that we might have His salvation!Isaiah 53:5-6: But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. John 14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Romans 5:6: For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
