Thought for Today
From The Works Of Rev. M.L. Fauss (1906-1984)

Rev. M. L. And Cora Fauss

He who cannot forgives, breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass.Matthew 6:14-15: For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. We must forgive others if we want to be forgiven ourselves. A good prayer to be prayed each day is "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." When a believer considers how much God has forgiven him, he is able to extend pardon to others no matter what they have done. God in His mercy forgives and forgets. Horace Bushnell said, "Forgiveness is man's deepest need and highest achievement!"
