Our Mission Field and History:
Doris Hokett lives in Lagos, Nigeria. Doris and her late husband, Arthur, have faithfully served as missionaries since 1966, living first in Ghana and now in Nigeria.
They travel most of the time preaching and teaching in crusades, revivals, seminars, conventions, etc. They have ministered in many countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Haiti, El Salvador, Holland, England, Switzerland, etc. They pray for the sick, and have seen many people healed by the power of Jesus.
Doris has written fifteen books of miracles, testimonies, and teachings; the last twelve of which have been published in Nigeria. She also sings in their meetings, and has made three cassettes of her songs, plus a recent CD.
Rev. Arthur E. Hokett went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2011, at the age of seventy-three. He was a faithful man of God, and served in Africa more than 45 years. He was much loved by many thousands of people all over the world, so he is greatly missed by his family and friends. Doris, his wife of nearly 54 years, is continuing with the ministry, traveling, and preaching. She continues to help build many churches in Northern Ghana, and Church Number 62 is the latest one. Many people are giving special offerings to help, in Arthur's memory.
They have one son, Jeff, who was born in Ghana. He and his wife, Sandra, have three sons, Alex, Spencer, and Richard, and live in the United States.
HOKETT INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation, fully registered and recognized. All offerings are income tax deductible, and an annual report is sent to each donor. We are not underwritten by any church or organization, but are supported entirely by the free-will contributions of faithful friends.
